Domn al Tarii Romanesti (cca. 1310-1352), fiul lui Tihomir.A unificat voievodatele din dreapta si din stanga Oltului, punand bazele statului medievalTara romaneasca.A luptat cu tatarii consolidand granita estica a statului pana spre Posada pe regele ungur Carol Robert de Anjou, intarind independenta Tarii Romanesti.
